Once again, we are fortunate to have one of our own going to the 2013 CF Games. In just over a month Kelli Dean will compete against the best women crossfitters in the world. Unfortunately, many of us can’t make it to the games to support Kelli as she takes on the competition. Therefore, we will be hosting an fundraising event to show our support for Kelli and “Coach Deano” as they go forward and represent LCF on the “big stage!”

We have been fortunate enough over the past few years to attend several specialty courses with some of the best instructors in the world, and as coaches it is our desire to do our best to pass on as much of the invaluable knowledge that we have gained as we can. Having been through more than a few, we also understand how expensive and time consuming it can be to travel to and from these out of state courses.
So with that, mark your calendars for June 21-23 as we will be hosting a weekend Olympic Weightlifting camp at our very own Lightning Crossfit on Eglin AFB. We will be covering the Snatch as well as the Clean & Jerk in-depth, providing specific individualized attention, as well as visual feedback through video. We will focus on breaking the movement down step by step, getting you into the best position possible for every working part till you have a better understanding as well as the confidence to perform both lifts correctly! Attendance in this class is very limited, and the cost will be $125 per person, which is extremely cheap by comparison to other comparable courses.
Also, we understand that you have family obligations and may have to step out at some point or another. We are striving to maintain the informal “camp” type family atmosphere which makes CrossFit awesome.
