800m to warm up

Stretch/drills

4x400m at 90sec, with 90 sec rest (90 sec rest is non-negotiable, but pace should be mile race pace/goal race pace), straight into

4x200m as fast as possible with walking 200m rest, then

4x100m as fast as possible with walking 100m rest

800m to cool down

Goals are to stay consistent, but also get faster as the workout progresses with the last rep of each set feeling like your body is heavy, but you are making it fly
